Please read this Agreement carefully as it governs your use of the Glendalough e-commerce (shop) website – shop.glendaloughdistillery.com - (the 'Site'). By continuing to use our site you are agreeing to the terms set out below and are confirming that you are above the legal age to purchase alcohol in the country you reside in. Persons under the legal age to purchase alcohol are not permitted purchase, receive or subscribe to any goods or services from this site.

Limited Rights to Use Content

All material including any intellectual property in it displayed on the Site ("Content") belongs to the Glendalough website or its suppliers. Shop.glendaloughdistillery.com website gives you the right, for your own personal or non-commercial purposes only to (1) retrieve and display the Content on your PC / device screen; (2) print individual pages on paper; (3) store individual pages in electronic format. You may not store any Content on any server or other storage device connected to an external network, or make any other use of the Content.

You may not, without prior written permission given by shop.glendaloughdistillery.com website within the previous six months, (1) redistribute any of the Content or supply it to other people; (2) remove the copyright or trade mark notices from any copies of Content made under this Agreement; (3) create a database in any form (including electronic or structured manual form) by downloading, copying and storing all or any of the Content; (4) except as expressly set in this Agreement, modify, reproduce or in any way use any of the Content.

 

Purchases

The prices for goods displayed for sale on the Site are as set out on the Site and are inclusive of relevant Irish VAT and Duty at rates valid as of time of purchase. Where additional charges are made for delivery, they are clearly displayed.

By completing and submitting the electronic order form on the site you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract.

By making that offer to purchase goods, you are also authorizing shop.glendaloughdistillery.com website to deduct the amount from the card or payment method provided. We will confirm acceptance of your order by email, stating that the goods ordered have been dispatched. This confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive an email, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion. Where we are unable to fulfil part or all of your order we will contact you and arrange to refund that amount to you.

 

Delivery

Glendalough Distillery website offer an international delivery, serviced through third party logistics providers. More information can be found on our delivery information page.

Goods must be ordered by and received by a person of legal age in that country / those countries.

Cancellation of Orders, Returns & Refunds

You can cancel your order but this must be done in email within 12 hours of purchasing.

 

If the product has been delivered, you must return the product to us for it to be cancelled and you will be reimbursed. Simply contact us by phone on +353 1 675 9744 from outside Ireland or email info@celticwhiskeyshop.com. To help us assist you as quickly as possible please quote your order reference number.

You are entitled to a cooling-off period of 7 working days, which begins on the day after you receive delivery of your order. During the cooling-off period, you may cancel your order for any reason and provide notification to info@celticwhiskeyshop.com that you will be returning the product and accept to pay the cost of returning the product. Refunds will only be issued including shipping costs if they were delivered in error, defective or badly damaged. Upon cancellation, we will make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of the order and will reimburse you within 14 days. While we are more than happy to help if you wish to return goods that are not faulted or damaged you will be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the goods.


Please note for certain products that we have marked on our website as: 'Warning these bottles may leak when shipping, therefore, shipping is at the buyers risk', refunds for damages will not be issued. 

 

We work hard to ensure that our goods arrive at your door exactly as they left ours. Unfortunately accidents can happen. In the unfortunate case of goods becoming broken or damaged in transit, we will offer the choice of either a replacement or a full refund including any delivery costs incurred.


Refunded orders must be returned in the original packaging and in good condition for the refund to be granted.


Images on our website are their for illustration only and might not be an exact representation of the product — for example discontinued products, batch numbers, vintages — these are all subject to change. We will do our best to inform you if this is the case.

We are committed to protecting the personal data of anyone who uses our website. The information that you provide about yourself to Glendalough Distillery will only be used by us in accordance with our Data Protection Policy.

 

Modifications to Website Content

In endeavouring to improve the Site and services offered, Glendalough Distillery reserve the right at all times to make changes to the Content, including these Terms & Conditions. Prices and products are subject to change without notification. You will be subject to the policies and Terms of Service in place at the time of your visit to the Site.

 

General

There is no specific time limit applying to your access and use of the site. However, Glendalough Distillery reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access and use at any time. It may exercise the right with or without notice.

You may not assign, sub-licence or otherwise transfer this Agreement or your rights of access to the Site.

Failure by either party to exercise any right or remedy under this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy Irish law will apply to this Agreement and both you and Glendalough Distillery agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts. All contracts that result from the use of this website are concluded in English.

Relevant legislation governing these Terms & Conditions is the Sales of Goods (Supply of Services) Act, 1980, the Consumer Information Act, 1978, the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000, the EU Directive on Distance Selling, SI 207 of 2001 and SI 68 of 2003, the Data Protection (Amendment) Act, 2003 and the Copyright & Related Act, 2000.
